The Roxie Young Women’s Choir
The Roxie Young Women’s Choir was created in 2001. The choir consists of around twenty women who are between 20 and 35 years of age, students and non-students, and who live in the city or province of Groningen. Over the past fifteen years they have performed a variety of genres and in many different languages. The choir is still alive and kicking and always enjoys the weekly rehearsals. During the past few years the choir has given several concerts and participated in a number of competitions. This year the theme of the summer concerts is Spanish and Portuguese music.
