Coffee in Leegkerk
This year the medieval church in Leegkerk is open to the public again every Sunday afternoon during the summer months (June, July and August), starting Sunday 12 June, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On these Summer Sundays everyone is welcome to come in and have a look around. Or enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of pie. On these summer Sunday afternoons the church is staffed by volunteers, most of whom live nearby in Leegkerk.
Some of the Summer Sundays feature cultural activities. On Sunday afternoon 26 June from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. recorder students will give a recital. From nursery rhymes to works by Georg Philipp Telemann and Jacques Offenbach.
