The Remonstrant Church was built in 1883 and in 2006 it received a totally new lease of life. The church and adjoining buildings have since been used for holding meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, concerts and lectures. Worship services too are still held there regularly. The Japanese architect Moriko Kira refurbished the entire building and we are proud of the spectacular transformation. The classical façade was returned to its former glory and today the building houses seven light and airy multi-functional units.

The Remonstrant Church is located on Coehoornsingel in the centre of the city of Groningen and has excellent accessibility. The church is just a short four minute walk from the train station and there are two underground parking garages nearby.
The Remonstrant Church is very suitable for holding lectures, concerts, smaller conferences (up to 180 people), dinners and debates. The main church hall is a light and modern space with many technical facilities. There are also six meetings rooms of various sizes.
